Privacy Policy
pilliar.com is built to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what it does collect, why and what you can ask of us.
01Who we are
Pilliar is responsible for the personal data processed on pilliar.com. Its details are on the Legal Information page.
This policy covers this website only. Pilliar AI (PiAI), at app.pilliar.com, is governed by its own documents.
02What we collect
pilliar.com has no account, no form, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It loads no resources from third parties: fonts, images and scripts are all served by pilliar.com itself.
- Technical logs. Like any website, pilliar.com is delivered by a hosting provider that records technical logs: IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time.
- Messages. When you write to us by email, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, your message and any attachment.
- Applications. When you apply for a role, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your resume.
- Language choice. Kept on your device only and never sent to us. See the cookie notice.
03Why we use it
- Technical logs, to deliver the site and keep it secure, on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a reliable website.
- Messages, to answer you, on the basis of your request.
- Applications, to assess them, as steps taken at your request before a possible employment contract.
We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising or make automated decisions about you.
04How long we keep it
- Technical logs: no longer than 12 months.
- Messages: as long as needed to answer and follow up, and no longer than 3 years after our last exchange.
- Applications: for the duration of the recruitment process. If you are not hired, we delete your application within 2 years, or sooner if you ask.
05Who can access it
Only the members of the Pilliar team who need it. Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf, under contract, and may not use it for their own purposes.
06Where it is processed
Pilliar is established in the United Arab Emirates. Your messages and applications are processed by our team there and by our providers, which may be located in other countries. When data leaves the country where it was collected, we apply the safeguards required by the law that applies to it.
07Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, including the UAE data protection law and, for people in the European Union, the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, and receive it in a portable format.
Write to hello@pilliar.com. We answer within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority competent for you.
08Changes
We may update this policy. The version and date at the top of this page show which one is in force.
